Improvement of the (good) original

Shown in Project 7PM: Episode of October 17, 2024 (2024). Naomi Scott's performance is outstanding, she is so convincing and completely devoted to the role throughout the film - to such an extent that she raises the film as a whole to a level higher.

The other actors are good, for example, Rosemary DeWitt, but "Smile 2" is very much Scott's film

The duration is perhaps a bit longer than it needs to be, although to be honest, this is only a minor criticism in the grand scheme of things. A lot of what's on screen helps negate any potential (minor) pacing issues, the violence and gore is pretty graphic, but it's well done and that's exactly what we want to see in a production of this kind, let's be realistic.

Judging by the ending, the next sequel can be very fun - we hope!
